FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Thayid Wilson, known by his online alias YureiXoX, has always been a standout personality. He spent his formative years navigating the dynamic streets of Philly, absorbing the rich culture, diversity, and real-life experiences that would shape his understanding of what truly matters in the world.
From an early age, Thayid displayed an uncanny knack for standing apart from the crowd. His intelligence, tenacity, and focus set him head and shoulders above his peers. It wasn't simply about being smarter or better; it was about being different, being authentic, and leading with his true self.
Like any teenager, Thayid faced his fair share of struggles and challenges. The trials and tribulations of adolescence, coupled with the unique pressures of growing up in an urban environment, were no small hurdle.
Yet, he persevered, using these experiences to fuel his growth and resilience. Education was a pivotal part of Thayid's journey. He began his high school education at Mastbaum, a place he initially thought would be his stepping stone to greater heights. However, recognizing that the school was not fulfilling his academic and personal needs, he made the brave decision to transfer to One Bright Ray. This move marked a significant turning point in Thayid's life, sparking a transformative phase that would ultimately shape him into the individual he is today.
"My journey as a multi-media producer began with my love for music production and YouTube, which started when I was a teenager. I learned how to make beats and write lyrics, Edit videos, and promote a brand, eventually producing tracks for myself and other artists. As my skills developed, I began exploring multiple avenues of creativity, including film production, graphic design, and creative writing. "
FINDING YUREIXOX
When Thayid (YureiXoX) Wilson transferred to One Bright Ray, he didn't just find a new school; he found a new path. It was there that he met Carlos Aponte, the founder of the non-profit organization We Love Philly. This chance encounter would prove pivotal in Thayid's journey. Under Carlos' mentorship, Thayid began to explore the power of healing, both for himself and others. The organization's mission resonated deeply with him, aligning with his own passion for helping others and making a positive impact.
Through We Love Philly, Thayid also discovered his talent and passion for multimedia, a craft he would go
on to perfect over the following years. The year 2020 was a year of unprecedented challenges. Yet, amidst the global chaos, Thayid found a silver lining.
He launched his TikTok account under the alias YureiXoX, a platform he would use to connect with a wider audience. Through engaging content and strategic marketing, Thayid quickly amassed a considerable following. But with fame came fear, a new challenge Thayid had to navigate as he continued to grow.Despite the apprehensions, Thayid pressed forward, continually pushing himself up the ladder. His journey led him to cross paths with more incredible individuals and opportunities, including a connection with Rec Philly, an organization providing resources for local creatives. This connection further solidified Thayid's presence in the Philly underground rap scene, giving him a platform to showcase his unique sound and style.Throughout his journey, Thayid has continually refined his purpose and mission. From his early days in Philadelphia to his growing fame online, he remains committed to his authentic self and his goals
